Industry READY Course
Are you considering a career in the makeup industry? Then this course is for you.
Courses are in-depth, covering all aspects of makeup artistry over a 15 or 30 week period. Artists at Play courses are designed to teach students the fundamentals of makeup artistry through to an advanced level.
The course incorporates specialised techniques that will give a well-rounded education as well as a hands-on experience. This will form the career pathways in all facets of the Industry. The programme is designed with a practical and professional learning approach with over 160 hours of artistry training and business development.
Students can potentially be chosen to be part of the events Artists at Play take part in including:
– Perth Fashion Festival
– Runway Shows
– Editorial campaigns,
– Masterclasses working under the direction of internationally renowned artists Carol Mackie and Hendra Widjaja
One of our significant opportunities is as the Official Sponsor for Perth Fashion Festival Artists at Play. We offer students the potential to assist backstage at these events. We also provide on the job training with our lecturers assisting on photoshoots, bridal services and freelancing opportunities.
Artists at Play students have also worked on independent films, television commercials and gained hands-on experience at Channel 7 and 9.
Students are chosen based on their performance in class and throughout the course. Upon graduation, students can apply to the Artists at Play Backstage team where we can continue to provide experience and opportunities throughout the Industry.
Class sizes are small (max 10 per class) to ensure you have the highest standard of training and whilst studying at Artists at Play and the most one on one training available to you with your lecturer.
No previous experience is required to enrol just a passion for makeup artistry and a commitment to the execution of the course. Upon completion, successful students will receive an industry recognised certificate. |REQUIREMENTS||Minimum age requirement is 16, take pride in their appearance with a desire to succeed, have the capability to undertake and pass the Industry Ready course. Kits and Brushes are available for purchase with enrolment|
